On the subject of the whole knife thing. At work (Security) nothing ever happens. But a couple weeks ago, the local **** came on to the site with a mate of his and when I asked them to leave, the main one (local asshat) said "No" Pulled a knife out and said "What are you gonna do about it" This was at about 23.00 and I was on my own, faced with 2 idiots, one with a knife. I had no idea if he was going to use it or not, but I wouldn't put it past him.
The right thing to do? Walk away I expect, well, run away. Did I do that? Hell no! That little scrotum pulled a knife on me and I flattened him. Not proud, this isn't a "Wow, I'm hard" Just look at the pictures of me But if someone is stupid enough to pull a knife on me, expect to have to be looking up at the stars.
I have 4 copies of DSoTM. I have the original 1973 release. The 20th anniversary edition released in 1993, the 30th anniversary edition released in 2003 and the 2nd disc of Pulse, which Rodgers pointed out is DSoTM in it's entirety.
In my 5 CD changed in my bedroom, I am sporting a special 5.1 edition of Wish You Were Here, DSoTM, The Wall (Both Discs) and The Final Cut. In my car, I have DSoTM.
It isn't a clean one though mate. The bodywork is fairly tidy, except for a bit of rust on the rear arch, a dent on the drivers door and the bonnet is scratched. The interior is a little rough as well. Its not as tidy as mine. Also, the grey one has no Tax or MOT, whereas mine does.
The one on the boot of the grey one is also a replica, but I want a genuine M3 rear spoiler for mine, which is the same as mine noe (but genuine obviousl) whereas the one on the grey one is just an after market spoiler.
Well done Jakg, the feeling is great. Wait till you pass your practical!
Tramp Drift is when you buy a RWD MOT failure with no tax for about £200. Cut the springs, weld the diff, strip the interior and away you go. Like I said, a it ASBO, but should be fun. I am a little ashamed of the fact I want to do it though, but its better to do it in a safe place that on the Queens public highways.
Sorry mate, I disagree. I can only see this ending in tears. Okay, bikes are fairly easy to ride, but we know his history. Okay, he used to race in motorcross and he 'one' a lot. Move over Rossi. His attitude is completely wrong. He isn't stupid, but just not mature enough to be allowed on our roads, I feel. I see enough dickheads on the road. Example: I was driving home to Devon from Nottingham the other weekend. I was in the middle lane of the motorway, overtaking some traffic. A boy in a Corsa undertook me, slammed on his brakes behind the vehicle I was overtaking, went to go onto the hard shoulder to overtake, decided not to and cut me up. When I glared at him, his mate in the passenger seat does down his window, leans out and start banging on mine.
There is enough stupidity on the road, enough uneducated drivers, enough dead 17 year olds. I really don't want Sam to be another number, no matter how I much I think he is a clown, I don't wish that on anyone.
The road is a very dangerous place. I am not making an immature comment, or atleast I don't mean this as a piss take of Sam, but do you really trust someone with a machine capable of 60mph, the same boy who rode his bike into a sign and sued the council for putting the sign in the wrong place?! It's because of people like Sam, I pay a crazy amount of insurance etc. What happens to the poor soul who may hit Sam when he is riding his bike as silly speeds? I can only imagine it won't be great for them, they won't be able to live with themselves for killing a poor young teenager.
This isn't really directed at Sam, but the amount of silly drivers on the road, that Sam will one day fall into.
